Conferences

EAERE 2009, 24-27 June 2009

The 17th Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. EAERE 2009 will be organized by the Department of Spatial Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in cooperation with the Institute for Environmental Studies, both of the Vrije Universiteit (VU University Amsterdam). The programme of the conference will cover all areas of environmental and natural resource economics and around 500 participants are expected from all over the world, international researchers, scholars, economists and students. It is an invaluable opportunity for meeting, exchanging, and debating current topics in environmental and resource economics.

CEMEPE 09 & SECOTOX Conference

The Second Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning and Economics (CEMEPE) and to the SECOTOX Conference will be jointly held in Myconos island, Greece, from June 21 to 26, 2009. The conference is organized by the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, the Sector of Industrial Management and Operations Research, School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Department of Pollution Control Technologies, TEI of West Macedonia and the Technical Chamber of Greece. The conference is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between diverse groups of the scientific community concerned by current issues in environmental science, engineering, and management.
